The hot rolling line consists of a MINO 2-High Reversing Hot Rolling Mill equipped with an edging mill for width control. The mill is designed for heavy reduction of copper/brass alloy slabs while maintaining excellent dimensional accuracy.

The mill occupies approximately 700 m² and is equipped with a total installed electrical capacity of 3,200 kW (1,950 kW + 1,250 kW, 600 Volt).

Rolling lubrication is provided through a 1% Quaker emulsion system. Roll positioning is accomplished through mechanical screwdowns combined with hydraulic passline cylinders.

Technical capabilities include:

  • Coil diameter: Roller type coiler, 1,600 mm
  • Strip width: 560–1,052 mm
  • Entry thickness: 280 mm
  • Exit thickness: 17.5 mm
  • Maximum rolling speed: 120 m/min
  • MAIN MOTOR Power 1950KW + 1250 KW, 600 VOLT, DC

Included with the mill is one complete spare set of roll chocks and bearings.
