POWER UNIT: 20 HP, 1800 RPM totally enclosed, ball bearing motor for 460 volt (other voltages available), 3 phase, 60 cycle operation powered by an AC variable frequency drive. The pulley is connected by two V-belts to a companion sheave on the vibratory mechanism. Frequency of vibration is variable from 900 to 1400 cycles per minute by turning the speed potentiometer on the operator control panel. All moving drive components are well guarded for operator protection.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This “OR” Series Machine is composed of the following basic components: (1) The Supporting Base and Framework; (2) The Drive Unit; (3) Almco’s Contour Molded Urethane Lined Tub; (4) The Vertical Shaft Vibrator with Counterweight Adjustment; and (5) The Electrical Control Panel Enclosure. The structural frame of the machine is fabricated of heavy gauge steel plate with outside mounting pads for attachment to the floor. The bowl of the machine consists of a 1/2″ thick steel wrapper of all welded construction, and the bowl interior is lined throughout with 1″ thick urethane with no seams, crevices, ridges, etc. that would accelerate lining wear or failure from parts snagging or hanging up on the lining.
INCLUDED FEATURES: Automatic Internal Separation feature to include flexible urethane positioning dam which operates with plastisol coated screen and ramp to separate media from work parts. In operation, the dam control mechanism mounted in the molded urethane center dome section actuates from a set of dual phase adjustable timers for controlling process cycle and discharge cycle. The interior separation screening feature provides for automatic operation or manual operator control. Screen sizes available – 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1-1/4″ and 1-1/2″. Automatic Lubrication System. Consists of a Lincoln brand programmable unit that automatically lubricates the vibrator bearings. The auto-lube includes failsafe protection (and the machine is wired to shut off) in the event of a low grease level condition or failure to lubricate. Tachometer. Consists of providing a remote digital display for the variable frequency drive. This unit is located on the front door of the main electrical enclosure and is used to display vibrator speed in revolutions per minute (RPM). Elapsed Time Recorder. This non-resettable timer is mounted on the front door of the main electrical enclosure and is used to monitor total hours of machine use. |
